How to Make Tempe Goreng (Fried Tempe ) Crispy and Practical

Tempe is the stuff that is very simple and easy to find in Indonesia, with a a cheap price of Rp. 500-1000. In other countries, tempe from Indonesia and even price until Rp.50.000 / pack. Very expensive!

This time I will write about, how to make a simple fried tempe / Tempe Goreng (basically tempe can be processed in a million ways, I will write another time). how to make fried tempe/ Tempe Goreng are as below:




The material must be prepared to make TEMPE GORENG:
  •      1 piece tempe, cut into thin
  •      100 gr flour
  •      1.5 tbsp rice flour
  •      1 egg
  •      1 leek, thinly sliced (if you not like it, forget it)
  •      2 cloves garlic,
  •      salt and bouillon powder
  •      ½ tsp coriander
  •      and of course cooking oil  
HOW TO MAKE TEMPE GORENG: 
  • Blend the garlic and coriander and put in a bowl
  • Combine all ingredients, mix until batter smooth.
  •  Dip the tempe into the batter with flour and fry in hot oil in until done. (If you like tempe is not too dry, it's not a problem)
  •  Drain and serve.
    Serve with fresh chilli, soy sauce or chili sauce.
